Aerospace Engineering: Hot Air Balloons

About this Camp:
This amazing class is journey into the world of Aerospace engineering, and allows student's minds to travel by air. Students construct a five-foot hot-air balloon from lightweight colored tissue paper, and then use the Pitsco Hot-Air Balloon Tester to send it soaring gracefully in the sky. Students will learn about the aerospace principles of buoyancy, displacement, and behavior of heated gases; forces that make lighter than air flights possible. Projects will be taken home.
