Engineering: Super-Charged Lego Launchers

About this Camp:
Build target launchers, hand-triggered contraptions, wind-up cars, and other incredibly fun inventions in this brand new class. It just may be impossible to exhaust the creative potential of LEGO bricks. With an active imagination as your guide, there are endless possibilities. In this fun, action packed class, we will be building Lego projects that launch safe projectiles or themselves into action! Student working in pairs will learn about physics and engineering concepts such as Velocity, Projectiles, Trajectories, Force, Motion and more . Projects may include a candy catapult, hand-cranked dragster, ping-pong pitcher, Lego & Rubber band launcher, paper plane launcher, bungie cars, straw rocket blaster, all made from common household materials and Legos. Students will also be building a PVC Marshmallow Launcher and a small Lego Launcher to take home.

We offer research-proven technology and science summer day camps for ages 3-14. We believe learning should be fun, innovative, challenging and hands-on. Computer Explorers has over 200 camps throughout Minnesota each summer. We offer 30 different classes/camp in Video Game Design, Programming, Legos, Robotics, Engineering, and Film Making. We have been offering computer technology camps and classes in the Twin Cities for over 20 years, and 30 years nationally.
