Comic Book Designer Camp
About this Camp:
| Write and design your own comic book tales. Students will use an innovative comic book software, digital art and photos to illustrate their story. Using comic book design skills create and design your own personal graphic short story. Emphasis will be placed on personal styles and stories. Students will use images, icons, tagline symbols, clip art, audio clips, and artwork while working with many different layout and design templates. Then, they will combine their creations with a personalized storyline to make their own comics. The completed creations can then be posted to blogs, emailed to friends, or printed in a comic book form. Be creative; be inspired in our class. Your imagination is your only limit. Student groups' final projects will be available online for all to see, or students may bring a USB drive the last day to take home their films immediately. Student photography release must be signed for class. |

We offer research-proven technology and science summer day camps for kids and teens
ages 3-14. We believe learning should be fun, innovative,
challenging and hands-on. Computer Explorers has over 200 camps
throughout Minnesota each summer. We offer 30 different classes/camp
in Video Game Design, Programming, Legos, Robotics, Engineering, and
Film Making. We have been offering computer technology camps and
classes in the Twin Cities for over 20 years, and
30 years nationally.
