About this Camp:
Create your own customized Video Game using Nintendo Characters. Program you characters move and interact with one another. Students will learn to change backgrounds, add audio effects, create a pong game, and other games. Working in pairs, students will create a dynamic video animation game using Scratch, the innovative programming language created just for students by the MIT Media Lab. The first part of each class will be instructor led; with the time remaining students will have the opportunity customize their own game animation. Student will be able to use different Nintendo characters sprites such as: Pokemon, Super Mario Brother, Lego Star Wars, Sonic the Hedgehog to create their video game animations. |

About Us:
We offer research-proven technology and science summer day camps for
ages 3-14. We believe learning should be fun, innovative,
challenging and hands-on. Computer Explorers has over 200 camps
throughout Minnesota each summer. We offer 30 different classes/camp
in Video Game Design, Programming, Legos, Robotics, Engineering, and
Film Making. We have been offering computer technology camps and
classes in the Twin Cities for over 20 years, and
30 years nationally.
